Just when you think you have seen it all…

dontTrue story. I just received a request to connect from a stranger:

Your page came up as someone I should know. After looking at your profile, I’d have to agree. I see you are in the Legal Industy. I would appreicate you’re adding me as a friend. Looking forward to getting to know you.

If you know me, you know how I hate to get these bald requests to connect without any information about where we possibly met or how I can help you.

This one exceeds those boundaries-she obviously never read my profile.

If she did, even for a few seconds, she would know she has me pegged for the wrong industry.

Why should I ever want her to get to know me?

And she needs a friend? Aww, so sad. She should look on Facebook!
