I get the comment from time to time: “I am too old for LinkedIn.”
It happened yesterday when a very smart and creative person said that to me and perhaps I jumped on that comment a bit too quickly, but I told her my LinkedIn stories of 70-80+ year olds:
In brief, I have coached quite a few on LinkedIn or met them in my business travels and looked them up on LinkedIn only to find, to my delight, that they had some pretty good profiles.
From mid-high school to the end of one’s career, you are never too old to provide a running commentary and chronicle the brand you have become. Do tell why you do what you do.
