The 2 #LinkedIn faces of Eve

Eve (not her real name) is desperate for LinkedIn coaching.  She is the type that needs the extra TLC I like to give. To prepare a proposal for her, I looked her up using the advanced search function on LinkedIn.

She has2_LI_profiles 2 LinkedIn profiles! Uh oh. We need to fix that so we can concentrate on renovating one to relieve the obvious confusion.

Do potential clients want to work with one of her, or both of her?

Probably neither of her!

Search your name on Advanced search. More than one profile? (I see this problem a lot.)

Fix it by following these instructions. Now we can work together.

Don’t appear confusing to a potential client. They will just move on to the competitor.

  1. Thanks for tip, Marc. I just checked and there are many me’s including a seafood consultant and a justice at 4th court of appeals. Happily, none of them are really me. Does this double account problem occur because people forget that they already have an account on LinkedIn?
