Picture perfect! New graphic banner at top of #LinkedIn profile

backgroundDid you get one of these by email the other day?

If so, jump on it!

If not, you soon will receive it.

There’s a new enhancement previously reserved for paying LinkedIn subscribers, but now being spread out (slowly) to all of us. It’s a banner photo or graphic you can place at the top and behind your photo/headline box to reinforce your brand visually.

I designed my own background banner (which is easy to do on your own and save as a graphic–so you can make it look like anything you want, but please don’t be plain or dull!).

This is what I posted to sit behind my profile: 3logos_LI_banner_sep2014_3

A picture is worth a million words today. I think my banner reinforces my brand and multiple business activities. And I can easily change it later too.

Be creative and brand yourself further.
