Too many LinkedIn connections to keep straight? I just passed 2300, and believe me, tagging my connections really helps me organize them.
I can arrange each person into any one or more discrete groupings so I can scan or communicate with the entire grouping at any time. (I am not talking about LinkedIn Groups, I am talking about my own self-defined, edit-able groupings of connections.)
In the picture below, I have shown 3 different types of groupings of my connections:
- by category of person (in this case, “colleagues”)
- by company name
- by title.
The choices are all yours-whatever works! Use this to keep your LinkedIn life in order.
