No typos allowed!

typo

  1. Copy and paste your LinkedIn profile, section by section, to Word.
  2. Run spell check.
  3. Fix any and all typos.
  4. Fix any grammar errors it may find.
  5. Do it now.

Why? Because an error or a typo in your LinkedIn brand immediately erases any good impressions you make.

Remember the laundry detergent ad on TV where the stain on the guy’s shirt screamed out to the exclusion of any one concentrating on what he said? Point made.

We are all guilty (me too!) but we can fix the easy mistakes with a little extra care.
